Becoming the Third Largest Internet Company in the World

Based on the data released on August 2, 2021, JD.com has risen 43 ranks compared to last year. According to Fortune, this achievement positions JD.com as the largest retail and internet service company in China and the third largest internet company in the world. Interestingly, JD.com has been listed for six consecutive years in the Fortune Global 500 list.

JD.com's Revenue Increased by 40%

Interestingly, Fortune continues to monitor the recent development of JD.com. "With nearly 500 million customers, JD.com's revenue jumped 40% to $32 billion in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the previous year, which was also supported by the recovery of the economy, especially in online shopping in China. These are customers who emerged from the impact of the pandemic and new partnerships with various popular brands such as Starbucks and Decathlon."
