Kapanlagi.com - Yesterday, on Wednesday (15/12), Mall of Indonesia officially introduced a new concept, namely MOI Market located on the LG floor of the mall. This concept is brought by Agung Sedayu Realestat Indonesia (ASRI), the owner of Mall of Indonesia, and the MSME business incubator, PT Lumina Kaya Indonesa (KAYA.ID).
The new concept, which takes the theme of 'Outdoor to indoor eclectic borough market', invites small and medium-sized entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to 'enter the mall' permanently and pamper visitors with a comfortable atmosphere. At least 60 MSMEs from various types of businesses have joined and filled MOI Market at Mall of Indonesia, located in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
These MSMEs have gone through a strict curation process by KAYA.ID, so it is expected that the products offered there are quality MSME products. This collaboration is carried out in accordance with the spirit of ASRI to advance MSMEs in Indonesia.
"Agung Sedayu Realestat Indonesia (ASRI) is committed to supporting the economy of the community, especially MSMEs during this pandemic, so we invite and provide a business platform presented at Mall of Indonesia," said Alexander H Kusuma, CEO of ASRI.

Meanwhile, Co-Founder of KAYA .ID Richard Sam Bera stated that this collaboration should be an example for other shopping center developers in their efforts to develop Indonesian SMEs.
"This collaboration is very good in order to elevate the class of Indonesian SMEs by providing them with the opportunity to enter the mall not only in the form of exhibitions. The spirit of Mall of Indonesia in helping SME entrepreneurs by providing them with a place is crucial for the development of these small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the future," said Richard, who is also a former national swimmer.
Visitors to the MOI Market are pampered in 3 new areas. The first one is the Snack Alley, which provides various popular culinary snacks. Then there is Bloom Arcade, which offers various plants and flowers, and WearAbouts, which offers a variety of fashion choices that are highly sought after by the community.
"This collaboration is carried out to revitalize the concept of the MOI Market so that the products sold are displayed attractively and equipped with attractive and Instagrammable decorations, making it feel more festive and fresh. Of course, all SME tenants here are integrated between their online and offline businesses," added Richard.
Mall of Indonesia itself provides convenience for UMKM tenants there by not asking for rent fees, but implementing a more friendly profit sharing system with UMKM.
With the cancellation of the plan to implement PPKM Level 3 by the government, the new concept of Pasar MOI at Mall of Indonesia can be visited by the public starting from its launch day on Wednesday (15/12), which also coincides with the Christmas holiday season for the Indonesian people.
