Awkarin Confirms Cooperation with Hanania Group Has Ended Since 2022

Awkarin clarifies public assumptions regarding her involvement in the alleged travel fraud case of Hanania Group. She emphasizes that the cooperation with the company has been ongoing since 2022 and has long ended.

According to Awkarin, many parties mistakenly believe that she only started working with Hanania Group when this case emerged.

Her lawyer, Artahsasta Prasetyo Santoso, explained that the cooperation was conducted in the form of promotional barter. In exchange for umrah facilities, Awkarin fulfilled her obligations by posting a number of promotional content on Instagram.

"About two years ago we collaborated. Maybe that needs to be clarified again, because many from the media or friends on social media think we just started collaborating. That's not true," said Awkarin at the Metro Jaya Police, Monday (29/6/2026).

"Hanania Group provided umrah facilities, then Ms. Karin's achievement was making daily story posts on Instagram. From our investigation, there are 12 posts, consisting of nine photos and three videos or reels," explained Artahsasta.

Although the collaboration has ended a long time ago, Awkarin is still asked for information as a witness because she once had a professional relationship with Hanania Group.

"Maybe the reason we are being called is that anyone who has a relationship with Hanania, including influencers and content creators, is needed for information," said Awkarin.

Artahsasta also explained that Awkarin's departure for Umrah took place from July 29 to August 9, 2022, long before reports from the victims emerged.

"Her last hope from Karin is that the losses of the victims can be recovered if it is proven that there is a criminal act in this police report," concluded Artahsasta.
