Chikita Meidy Rejects Indra's Counterclaim, Demands Are Absurd

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the divorce hearing of Chikita Meidy and Indra Aditya at the Tigaraksa Religious Court on Tuesday (7/10/2025) was scheduled for evidence from the defendant regarding the counterclaim they filed. However, Chikita Meidy's side has firmly submitted a letter rejecting all those counterclaims.

Chikita's legal team believes that Indra's demands for the return of the dowry and mortgage money are unreasonable and lack a clear legal basis. Therefore, they have officially submitted a letter of rejection to the Panel of Judges.

"Now, here we ask what the argument is, right, related to the dowry that is already, already very absurd," he emphasized.

According to Yassirni, the evidence submitted by the defendant does not strengthen their reconvention claim at all. The evidence consists only of ordinary administrative documents and old photos.

"The written evidence presented has no correlation with the evidence of the claim in the reconvention," added Toris Sihotang, another member of the legal team.

Chikita's side hopes that the rejection and arguments they presented can be a main consideration for the judge. They are optimistic that the judge will clearly see that the counterclaim from Indra's side is not worthy of being granted.

"Witnesses were also requested, but they could not successfully provide or bring witnesses, to present witnesses, they could not present witnesses. This should be decided," concluded Yassirni.
