The cracks in the marriage of Andre Taulany and Erin Taulany seem to have reached a breaking point. In addition to being separated for more than a year, communication between the two has also been confirmed to be completely severed. This has become one of the strong reasons behind Andre's determination to end his marriage.

The fact regarding the breakdown of communication was revealed by Andre Taulany's legal team after the hearing at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (8/10/2025). According to them, there is no longer any dialogue taking place between their client and Erin. When the media asked whether communication between the two was still ongoing, Usman Lawala provided a straightforward answer.

"There is no communication anymore. They have separated," said Usman.

This condition is reinforced by the fact that Andre has repeatedly declared talak to Erin, both verbally in front of his wife and through written letters sent to Erin's residence.

"Earlier there was a question as well, whether the talak has been pronounced, right? Yes, it has. Andre has conveyed that multiple times in front of his wife and has also sent a printed letter to her house," he revealed.

According to the legal counsel, the main reason underlying this divorce request is the ongoing disputes and arguments.

"The essence of this case is indeed the continuous disputes and arguments between them," said Galih Rakasiwi on the same occasion.

With communication having reached a dead end and physical separation lasting more than a year, Andre Taulany feels that divorce is the only way out.

Now, Andre is pursuing legal action to obtain formal recognition of his separation.

"The court is the one that has the authority to decide this matter later, like that," concluded Usman Lawala.
