Court Firmly Prohibits Children from Being Witnesses in Andre Taulany's Divorce Hearing

One of the dramas surrounding the divorce process of Andre Taulany and Rien Wartia Trigina is the attempt to present the children as witnesses. However, this was strongly opposed by Andre's side and ultimately prohibited by the panel of judges.

Andre's lawyer, Fahmi Bachmid, made a sharp statement regarding this issue. He also mentioned that parties who involve children in conflicts lack morals.

Fahmi emphasized that the decision to prohibit children from being witnesses came directly from the court, not from Andre. He explained that this judge's ruling is final and must be respected by all parties.

"The court stated that children cannot be witnesses, period. No one can interpret this except the court itself. The court stated in the hearing last Monday, not this Monday, that children cannot be witnesses," Fahmi explained on Tuesday (12/8/2025).

Furthermore, he strongly criticized anyone who tries to involve children in parental conflicts. According to him, this is highly inappropriate and shows a lack of common sense and conscience.

"Yes, those who do this lack legal logic, they lack sense. There is no inner morality. So, they should have the moral sense not to involve children in conflicts. It's sad that children have to be brought into conflicts, having to go against their father or having to go against their mother. Those are people who lack morality," he said.

Fahmi also revealed that Andre was not even aware of the plan for his children to be present in court. The prohibition was purely an initiative from the panel of judges who saw the potential negative impact on the children's psychology.

"Andre didn’t know, how could he prohibit it? Andre didn’t know the children were coming to court. It was the court that prohibited it, not Andre. If the court prohibits it, that must be respected," he explained.

This man, who is also a lawyer, challenged anyone who disagreed with the judge's decision. According to him, the rule of law must be upheld and cannot be interpreted arbitrarily for personal interests.

"If someone says it’s allowed, then make your own law, fabricate it yourself, decide it yourself, create it yourself, print it yourself, and use that law yourself," he concluded.
