This fact was revealed by Ayu after undergoing her first examination as the reporter at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday (07/10/2025). According to her, the letter previously shown by Ashanty's party was made by dictation."I was dictated, Sir. Yes, I was dictated," Ayu revealed.
He emphasized that the writing of the letter did not come from the depths of his heart, but rather due to the pressing circumstances at the time. "So it wasn't from the heart, right? Oh, no, no. It was dictated," he added.
Ayu's legal team also highlighted that the items listed in the BAST do not include all the belongings that were taken. Personal items such as mobile phones and laptops that were seized during the interrogation are not mentioned in the letter.
"There was no handover for the mobile phone, right? The objects are different. There was no handover for the mobile phone, the laptop, that’s not there," Ayu explained.
Furthermore, Ayu also denied the claim that she was the one who invited Ashanty to come to her house in the early morning.
"Hey, that's tomorrow, right, Mas? It's different, different from what was reported today," she said, indicating that the complete chronology will be revealed during the investigation at the South Tangerang Police.
The admission that the handover letter was made under duress becomes new ammunition for Ayu to counter the narrative built by Ashanty, and strengthens the ongoing report of alleged seizure.
