Indra Bekti Remembers the Close Relationship of His Late Mother-in-Law with His Wife and Children

Kapanlagi.com - Indra Bekti reminisced about his late mother-in-law, Setro Partini, who passed away on Wednesday (29/1/2025). He expressed that the late mother had a very close relationship with his wife, Aldila Jelita, and their children. Although they lived far apart, communication remained strong.

"Thank God, Dila and I were the closest. She visited our apartment. Dila and I often chatted on WhatsApp. They were very close, and the kids were also close, even though they were far away, they kept in touch," Indra Bekti said when met at the mourning house in the Radio Dalam area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/1/2025).

1. Happy to See Indra Bekti Reconcile

Not only close to his family, Setro Partini also felt happiness when Indra Bekti and Aldila Jelita got back together after having been divorced. In fact, he played a role in the couple's reconciliation.

"Yes, including that. He also felt that if he's happy, then it's good if they can get back together. He also took care of things when we reconciled, and maybe even the wedding vows again," said Bekti.

2. Did Not Expect to Lose His Stepmother

Indra Bekti admitted that he still cannot believe the passing of his stepmother. Because, a week before she passed away, the late woman was still in good health and even reminded Bekti about a family event.

"Because just yesterday she was fine. A week ago there was an event, she was healthy, she came, she reminded me, ‘don’t forget the event for Mbak Ite’s child, his name is Edi.’ I said yes, Aunt. At that time I was in Bandung," he revealed.

3. Bekti's Nickname for Mother

Bekti also explained that since childhood, he has been accustomed to calling his stepmother "Auntie".

"I do call her not Mother or Mama. It was an agreement to call her Auntie, and that doesn't mean our relationship is any specific way. It's just that I've been used to calling her that since I was little," he explained.

4. Last Communication Moment

The last moment he communicated with Setro Partini was when he was saying goodbye because he had an event in Bandung. After that, he received news that his stepmother was suddenly rushed to the hospital.

"At that time I said, I have an event in Bandung. So, I can't come. In the end, that was the last time. I was informed directly that Auntie was taken to the hospital, collapsed at home," concluded Bekti.
