Lawyer Claims Nindy Ayunda Reported Former Babysitter to Cover Up 2021 Kidnapping Case

Kapanlagi.com - The alleged case of violence against children with defendant Lia Haryati, former babysitter of singer Nindy Ayunda's children, is currently being heard in the South Jakarta District Court. The defendant, Lia, is currently behind bars.

Recently, a new allegation emerged that Nindy reported Lia for alleged violence to divert attention from the kidnapping case that was widely discussed in 2021, where Nindy was reported to the police and Lia was a key witness to the incident.

"The report number is LP/904/II/YAN2.5/2021/SPKT PMJ dated February 15, 2021. The article is Article 333 of the Criminal Code concerning Kidnapping and Detention," said Fahmi Bachmid, Lia's lawyer, when contacted by phone on Thursday (31/3/2022).

1. Fahmi Says Nindy Ayunda Feels Threatened

Furthermore, according to Fahmi, Nindy feels threatened, so she eventually brings Lia back to court, even though there was already a reconciliation between Lia and Nindy regarding allegations of child abuse.

"This is really evil. She (Lia) is being brought back because she knows about the kidnapping and confinement case. Nindy Ayunda wants to silence Lia by bringing her back like this," Fahmi concluded.

2. Nindy's Confession

Previously, it was known that singer Nindy Ayunda and her daughter, Akifa Dhinara Parasady Harsono, gave testimony as witnesses in a trial for alleged assault committed by their former household assistant, Lia Karyati, at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (29/3/2022). Nindy and her daughter attended the trial virtually.

In her statement, Akifa said that she had suffered a lot of violence from her former ART. From being beaten to having her hands pulled, she had experienced it all.

"A lot. Beaten, pulled, and pinched. Her feet and hands were pulled, and her hands were pinched," Akifa said in the virtual trial at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (29/3/2022).

3. Small Problem

Akifa admitted to receiving harsh treatment from Lia Karyati just because of a small problem. Usually, Lia behaves harshly towards Akifa when Nindy Ayunda and Askara Parasady Harsono are not at home.

"If you don't want to eat," said Akifa.

"I didn't say it was because of Mbak Lia," she said again.

4. Not Willing to Forgive

In the same occasion, Nindy as Akifa's mother admitted that she did not want to forgive her former household assistant. As a parent, Nindy feels hurt because the parenting style applied by Lia is not in line with her expectations.

"No (forgiving). Because as a mother, I feel like giving birth, raising, because I saw it directly, my body was shaking," said Nindy.
