Na Daehoon Holds Child Custody, Provides Wide Access to Jule

Na Daehoon files for custody of his three children in a divorce lawsuit. He ensures that he will not sever the relationship between the children and their biological mother, Julia Prastini alias Jule.  
 
In his statement, Daehoon's side acknowledges the importance of the mother's role in the children's growth. Therefore, even though custody is legally requested to be granted to Daehoon, visitation access will not be restricted at all.

Rio Rachmat Effendi, Daehoon's lawyer, explained his client's commitment. He guarantees that Julia is allowed to meet her children at any time without any complicated procedures.

"However, (the petitioner) continues to provide access to the respondent to visit at any time, without any conditions, to give affection and care to the three children. Maybe that's all," Rio said after the trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (2/12/2025).

Questions about whether the children have met Julia were also raised by reporters. The legal representative emphasized that Daehoon's door is always open for Julia if she wants to reunite with the children. "For our client, there are no restrictions. For meeting the children, Mrs. Julia can meet them anytime, play with them, it is still allowed," Rio explained again.

Until now, communication regarding the children seems to be ongoing even though Daehoon and Julia did not meet directly during this court moment.This policy is taken to maintain the children's psychological well-being so that they continue to receive complete affection from both parents.

"Mr. Na Daehoon did not meet with Mrs. Julia. But Mrs. Julia wants to visit the children, there are no restrictions, she can still access the children. Maybe that's it, friends," he concluded.

When asked about the reason why custody was not granted to Julia, Rio revealed new facts. It turns out that there was already a discussion and a written agreement between Daehoon and Julia before the hearing took place. "There has been a written agreement between the applicant and the respondent granting custody to the applicant. And we also use that as one of the pieces of evidence. And between the applicant and the respondent, it's like they are divorcing amicably. That's it," Rio revealed.

Daehoon himself only asks for prayers that the results of this trial provide the best path for all parties, especially for the future of his children. "Basically, I hope for the best. Please just pray for me," said Na Daehoon.
