Not Waiting for an Apology, Rayen Pono Ready to Report Ahmad Dhani Directly to Bareskrim and MKD

Kapanlagi.com - Musician Rayen Pono emphasized that he will not give Ahmad Dhani any space to apologize in the case of the insult to his surname. He chose to report Dhani directly to the Bareskrim of the National Police and the Honorary Council of the House of Representatives (MKD) without prior notice.

The reporting plan will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Rayen stated that this report is related to allegations of defamation and insult, which he believes violate the ITE Law and have SARA nuances.

"In addition to Bareskrim, I, along with my legal team, will also go to MKD," Rayen said when contacted by the media on Monday (April 21, 2025).

1. Ahmad Dhani Has Not Apologized Yet

Rayen also explained that until now there has been no apology from Ahmad Dhani. This further strengthens his decision to take legal action without having to wait for goodwill from the opposing party.

"There is none because he really belittles it, so there is indeed none and I have not used a warning letter so I just filed a report," Rayen stated.

According to Rayen, the report he will submit not only concerns the insult against him, but also against the clan and family identity that he believes has been demeaned in public.

"The case of insult and the ITE Law," said Rayen.

2. Doesn't Want an Apology

When asked about the reason for not using a warning letter, Rayen explained that an apology is no longer the goal. He believes this case has entered the legal realm and there must be clear consequences.

"Well, if a warning letter usually demands an apology, this is no longer about an apology actually, so we consider it a legal violation and there are consequences, that’s it," he said.

Rayen also mentioned that the mention of the name 'Rayen Porno' not only hurts him as an individual but also concerns the dignity of the larger family that carries that clan name.
