The birth of their second son Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Annisa Pohan is a testament to the steadfastness of their struggle. At the age of 44, Annisa successfully went through the delivery process safely and gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

AHY revealed that their journey to have another child was not easy. He greatly admires the sacrifices of body and soul his wife made, as she persevered for over a decade to bring a child into their family.

For AHY, a mother is the true hero in life. He feels that his wife's delivery was a moment full of miracles that should be cherished to the highest degree.

"The effort is long and full of struggle. That is why we must truly cherish our mother, because no one sacrifices their soul and body more than the mother who conceives and gives birth through a process full of miracles," said Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono when met by KapanLagi at Pondok Indah Hospital, South Jakarta, on Monday (30/3/2026).

"Although we always appreciate the advancements in medical technology today compared to 17 years ago," he continued.

Considering the age factor of his wife, AHY ensured that the preparations for childbirth were done very thoroughly. He involved many specialist doctors to ensure Annisa's condition remained stable until the birth process was complete.

"Because my wife is not very young anymore, it is ensured that her condition is ready for childbirth. And thankfully, she is supported by a very experienced medical team. Thank you, including the delivery process up to IMD (Early Initiation of Breastfeeding), which is also important," he explained.

AHY also shared the good news regarding the birth of their second son through an official announcement. He is grateful that the delivery went as hoped by the entire Yudhoyono family.

"Our beloved wife, Annisa Larasati Pohan binti Aulia Tantawi Pohan, has safely given birth to our second child, a baby boy. Of course, we are very grateful to Allah SWT, the Almighty God, who has bestowed such an extraordinary gift," he said.

Now, baby Arjuna Hanyokrokusumo Yudhoyono is under medical observation with his mother. The best prayers continue to flow so that both are always granted health and strength.

"Good hopes, including ours, are those that wish to honor the ancestors. Our prayers and hopes are that our son Arjuna also possesses noble qualities, is brave, intelligent, refined in character, but once again strong in life principles," he concluded.
