Threat Report Question from Rayen Pono, Ahmad Dhani: It's Okay, Everyone Has Rights

Kapanlagi.com - Musician Ahmad Dhani responded casually to Rayen Pono's plan to report him to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police. Rayen felt offended because his name was referred to as 'Rayen Porno' by Dhani during a public debate some time ago.

When met in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, on Monday (21/5/2025), Dhani admitted he was not disturbed by the plan. According to him, every citizen has the same rights under the law.

"It's okay, right? Everyone has rights under the law," Dhani said in response to the issue.

1. Align the Situation with the Copyright Law Report

Dhani even compared this situation to the report related to the Copyright Law that VISI once filed with the Constitutional Court. He believes that legal processes are a normal thing in a democratic country.

"Yes, just like the Copyright Law was also reported to the Constitutional Court. It's the same, everyone has the right," he explained.

2. Not Disturbed

Furthermore, Dhani emphasized that he does not feel disturbed by the reporting plan. He chooses to remain focused on his activities and affairs, including the preparations for Al Ghazali's wedding.

"No," Dhani answered briefly when asked if he was disturbed.

Previously, Rayen Pono admitted that he would take this defamation case to legal channels because he felt his family was severely offended. He even engaged legal counsel to report Dhani for alleged violations of the ITE Law and defamation of the surname.

Ahmad Dhani himself did not provide a lengthy comment regarding the substance of the allegations. He only emphasized that he respects the legal process.
