Undergoes Second Examination, Sandra Dewi Apologizes for This Reason

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Sandra Dewi finally apologized for her silence after being questioned for 10 hours by investigators from the Indonesian Attorney General's Office regarding the corruption case of PT Timah that implicated her husband, Harvey Moeis, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Harris Arthur, her legal representative, said that the mother of two was exhausted after being questioned for approximately 10 hours by investigators. Therefore, she wanted to rest immediately.

"Firstly, I would like to convey a sincere apology from Mrs. Sandra Dewi regarding the examination yesterday at the Attorney General's Office. Because she was very tired, extremely exhausted, she didn't have the chance to say a single word to fellow journalists," said Harris Arthur in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, on Thursday (16/5).

"So she was questioned for almost 10 hours. After the examination, she was very tired and exhausted," added Harris.

1. Apologize & Thank You

Indeed, after being examined, Sandra Dewi did not make any statement and only made a gesture of apology with her hand. Even though the media crew had been waiting from morning until night.

"Convey my apologies and thanks to the media friends who have been supporting Sandra Dewi and Mr. Harvey Moeis. At one point, she promised to meet with journalist friends. Later, she will provide a direct explanation," explained Harris.

Harris Arthur revealed about Sandra Dewi's second examination agenda as a witness in the case involving Harvey Moeis. In front of the investigator, Sandra Dewi was presented with 40 questions to clarify their assets.

"Yesterday, I asked her about the approximately 40 questions posed by the investigative team, regarding the clarification of her assets. What was acquired before marriage and after marriage until 2018 and beyond," he concluded.

2. About the Corruption Case of Harvey Moeis

As previously reported, the Indonesian Attorney General's Office announced Harvey Moeis' involvement in the corruption case of tin commodity trading in the Mining Business License or IUP area of PT Timah on Wednesday (27/3).

After undergoing examination, it was revealed that between 2018 and 2019, Harvey Moeis was said to have facilitated illegal mining activities in the IUP area of PT Timah on behalf of PT RBT. Harvey's role involved finding partners for the leasing of tin smelting equipment in these illegal mining activities.

Harvey Moeis was responsible for collecting profits from each partner and handing them over to PT Timah. The activities carried out by Harvey are still connected to another suspect, Helena Lim.

Harvey Moeis has been designated as a suspect and immediately detained after undergoing examination. He is charged with Article 2 paragraph (1), Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) point 1 of the Criminal Code for his involvement in illegal mining practices at PT Timah.
