Verdict Hearing Will Be Held Next Week, Lucinta Luna Finally Admits Guilt and Regrets

Kapanlagi.com - After several hearings of refusing to admit and deny all allegations from the Public Prosecutor (JPU), in the continuation of the trial on Wednesday (23/9) yesterday, Lucinta Luna finally admits guilt and regrets. 

Eko Aryanto, spokesperson for the West Jakarta District Court, said that this trial is the final trial for Lucinta Luna to present her defense, as the verdict will be issued on September 30, 2020.

1. Still Denying

Eko Aryanto said, during the trial, Lucinta Luna initially insisted that she felt innocent and did not use drugs. However, she eventually admitted that she was guilty and regretful. 

"She still insisted that she felt not guilty, but earlier Lucinta was asked, she felt guilty, her legal advisor didn't, she regretted it earlier," said Eko when contacted by phone recently.

Eko said, there is no other choice for Lucinta Luna. Because she no longer has time for a defense, and one way to lighten her punishment is by admitting her actions. 

"Yes, she admitted her guilt and regretted that it will not be repeated again, because there is no more time for the final defense, next week is the verdict," said Eko. 

3. 3 Years in Prison

In the indictment hearing, the Prosecutor demanded Lucinta Luna to be sentenced to 3 years in prison and fined Rp25 million or 3 months of imprisonment.

The Prosecutor is confident that the elements of the charges against Lucinta Luna have been fulfilled, proving that she violated Article 112 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics regarding the possession of ecstasy and Article 60 and 62 of Law Number 5 of 1997 concerning Psychotropics regarding the possession of riklona.
