5 Contestants Advance to the Final Audition of Dangdut Academy 8 Group 8

Kapanlagi.com - The Final Audition of Dangdut Academy 8 Group 8, broadcast live on Friday (10/7/2026), featured fierce competition among contestants from various regions in Indonesia. Various challenges were given by the judging panel to test the contestants' vocal quality, stage presence, and duet abilities.

After all performances were evaluated, five contestants secured their place in the next round. They are Rofia from Kuningan, Zhifanna from Pesisir Selatan, Diva from Kuantan Singingi, Inayah from Gowa, and Angkasa from Surabaya.

1. Rofia Kuningan Receives Standing Ovation from the Jury

Rofia performed consistently while delivering Rasakanlah, Wakuncar, Bunga Bunga Cinta, and Mawar Bodas. Her performance successfully made the entire jury give a standing ovation.

Wika Salim admitted to crying while listening to Rofia sing a sad-themed song. Dewi Perssik praised the improvisation and accuracy of every note sung.

Soimah assessed that Rofia has a clear vocal character and is very dangdut. She also appreciated Rofia's life story of continuing to trade and farm without feeling ashamed, making her performance deemed worthy of advancing.

2. Zhifanna Pesisir Selatan Performs with Deep Emotion

Zhifanna performed the songs Ditikam Asmara, Acuh Tak Acuh, and Doaku with strong emotion. The last song's performance even made Wika Salim shed tears.

Dewi Perssik praised Zhifanna's clear articulation and heartfelt singing style. Her performance was considered capable of conveying the song's emotions well.

Soimah referred to Zhifanna as Rofia's toughest competitor because she was able to perform maximally even after a very strong performance. Zhifanna is also assured to advance to the next round.

3. Diva Kuantan Singingi Shows Positive Development

Diva faced the challenge of performing Maling, Egois, and the duet Kasmaran with Arbil. Their chemistry received praise for appearing cheerful, relaxed, and complementing each other on stage.

Wika Salim praised Diva's smile and expression, which looked natural. Dewi Perssik also saw great potential that could still be developed through dynamic performance while singing.

Soimah assessed that Diva has been able to perform as herself with good energy and body language. This performance allowed Diva to successfully advance to the next round.

4. Inayah Gowa Relies on Character and Vocal Power

Inayah performed Trauma, Bisik-bisik Tetangga, and the duet Teman Jadi Nyaman with Tasya. Her vocal power became one of the main strengths that caught the attention of the judging panel.

However, Wika Salim requested that Inayah pay more attention to tempo while singing. Dewi Perssik also highlighted some notes that were still off-key and expressions that appeared empty during the duet performance.

Soimah appreciated Inayah's vocal character but reminded her to be more sensitive in managing her breathing and falsetto technique. Thanks to her potential, Inayah successfully advanced to the next stage.

5. Angkasa Surabaya Secures Ticket to the Next Round

Angkasa became the fifth participant to successfully continue their journey in Dangdut Academy 8. One of the performances that garnered attention was when they performed the song Gelas Retak.

Dewi Perssik noted that Angkasa should reduce expressions that were deemed too flirtatious while on stage. This evaluation is expected to help make their performance more mature.

On the other hand, Soimah praised Angkasa's vocal character and stage style, which were considered enjoyable. Although they still need to improve pitch control, especially in the lower notes, their performance was deemed sufficient to secure a ticket to the next round.
