1. Wika Salim Rates Melani as Having the Character of a Stage Singer

Wika Salim admitted that she likes the way Melani performs songs because her articulation sounds clear from the beginning of the performance. "You sing with very clear articulation. So there's no guesswork. This is a true stage singer," said Wika Salim.

That comment was immediately agreed upon by Gilang Dirga. "It's really true. She has a lot of experience," said Gilang Dirga.

However, Wika also provided feedback regarding Melani's interaction with the audience at the beginning of the performance. "But earlier when you were about to greet (the audience), you seemed a bit hesitant. Yes, you seemed a bit unsure," said Wika Salim.

In response to this, Gilang Dirga added, "True. You should just let it go."

Wika then added, "Just let it go, dear."

2. Melani's Performance Experience Becomes the Spotlight

Before other judges gave their comments, Gilang Dirga wanted to know about Melani's performance experience. "Okay, before the judges comment again, I want to ask. It's very clear that your experience is quite substantial. How many years have you been singing from stage to stage?" asked Gilang.

Melani answered briefly, "It's been three years."

Gilang then responded, "Three years? And if it's intense, then okay, that's quite good."

On a separate occasion when met at Studio 5 Emtek City, West Jakarta, on Friday (3/7/2026), Melani recounted the beginning of her singing journey. "Initially, I didn't start with dangdut. I participated in event songs like August 17, so it was definitely songs about heroes, struggle songs," said Melani.

3. Dewi Perssik Gives Notes on Tempo and Movement

Dewi Perssik believes that Melani has good vocal quality and a strong voice character. However, she also sees that there are a few things that still need improvement. "It's just that being too relaxed makes it off tempo," said Dewi Perssik.

Hearing that comment, Gilang Dirga immediately interjected, "Oh really? Is there an off tempo too?"

Dewi Perssik then continued her assessment. "So if we talk about the voice, it's really good. I like it. The character is thick and the voice is nice. And maybe there are just a few things like your dancing. You seem to be thinking about it, right?"
