Kapanlagi.com - Film star, director, and producer, Lola Amaria, has released her latest work towards the end of 2020. This time as a gift on World AIDS Day, which falls on December 1st, Lola released a film titled CALON PENGANTIN.
Just like her previous films, Lola Amaria still embeds a social message and education in the film CALON PENGANTIN. In this film, Lola portrays the reality of life in the lower middle class society who still do not understand the causes of changing partners, unprotected sex, and the stigma surrounding HIV testing.
"In the past five years, HIV has been suffered by housewives who don't know anything about it. We made a short film that educates and people need to understand this," said Lola when met in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta recently.

The film CALON PENGANTIN tells the story of a couple who wants to get married. One mandatory requirement before getting married is that this couple must undergo an HIV test. The anxiety caused by the lack of understanding about this test becomes an interesting drama in this film.
As of June 2019, the Ministry of Health recorded 349,883 HIV patients in Indonesia. Patients have shifted from sex workers and drug users to housewives.

The film CALON PENGANTIN can be watched for free on the Lola Amaria Production YouTube channel starting from December 13, 2020. This film stars Tatyana Akman (Siti), Agra Pilliang (Bondan), Revaldo (Ari), and Gia Partawinata (Ali).
