Main Film Thriller 'LOCKDOWN', Vino G Bastian Exhausted Physically and Emotionally - Mawar De Jongh Admits Not Mature

Kapanlagi.com - Falcon Pictures secretly produced a thriller titled LOCKDOWN starring Vino G Bastian and Mawar De Jongh. This film by Rako Prijanto tells a fictional story set during a pandemic.

"Falcon Pictures asked us to make a film about COVID because it has been going on for a year and it has affected us. When making a film, it should be something close to us, and coincidentally, the content or story of this film is similar to what we are experiencing now. How this big situation is seen from the perspective of two characters," explained Rako in a virtual press conference on Wednesday (7/4/2021).

1. Vino Tired Physically and Mentally

Vino G Bastian as the main male actor admits that filming LOCKDOWN not only drains emotions but also physically. The reason is because the emotions of the character named Dante that he portrays vary in each scene.

"For me personally, this film is like a roller coaster. The level of emotions can suddenly be very high or very low. Each scene is also very intense, from the dialogue, camera movements, and interactions between the actors. It's quite exhausting physically and mentally. This is one of the films that personally challenges my acting skills again," explained Vino on the same occasion.

2. Mawar Admits Lack of Maturity

In addition to Vino, Mawar De Jongh holds the position of the main actress. Some aspects of the character Debi that she plays have similarities with her personal condition, but other aspects are very different.

"I became Debi, Dante's hardworking, firm, and dominant wife. I found very few similarities (with Debi), for example, panic and paranoia, that's so me. When it comes to facing problems as an adult, I don't think I'm mature enough to handle them as maturely as Debi," continued Mawar.

LOCKDOWN tells the story of a married couple named Dante and Debi who are trapped in a difficult situation during the pandemic. There is no news yet about when this film will be released, but Rako Prijanto hopes that his latest work can be watched in cinemas.
