Rano Karno Confirms Not Inviting Mak Nyak to Enliven the Concert 'AKHIR KISAH CINTA SI DOEL', Why?

Kapanlagi.com - Ahead of the release of the movie AKHIR KISAH CINTA SI DOEL, Falcon Pictures in collaboration with RCTI will hold a mega concert on January 17. Musicians involved include Slank, Iwan Fals, Armada, Wizzy, and several undisclosed names.

Members of the Doel Family such as Rano Karno, Suti Karno, Mandra, Maudy Koesnaedi, and Cornelia Agatha will also participate in the event. Unfortunately, the actress playing Mak Nyak, Aminah Cendrakasih, will not be present.

"Mak Nyak already knows about the concert. But she cannot join. Her condition does not allow it," explained Rano Karno during a press conference at the Falcon Pictures office in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/13/2020).

1. Air-Conditioned Studio

Even if he could bring Mak Nyak to the concert location, Rano Karno certainly couldn't bear it. Because the studio where the event will be held will definitely be cold due to the air conditioning.

"Yes, sorry, the studio is cold, Mak Nyak can't do it, it's impossible to be exposed to the AC. And if she has to be carried, it's also a bit difficult because she also has vertigo," added this bespectacled man.

2. Bring Four Songs

In the upcoming mega concert, both Slank and Iwan Fals will bring four songs each. One of the songs will be performed collaboratively.

Iwan Fals will collaborate with Armada to perform the famous soundtrack from Si Doel. Meanwhile, Slank plans to invite Rano Karno to join them on stage to perform the song Ku Tak Bisa.
