Release of 'THE SUICIDE SQUAD' Will Follow in the Footsteps of 'WONDER WOMAN 1984'

THE SUICIDE SQUAD is a film adapted from DC comics, telling the story of an anti-hero group working together to save the world while superheroes are busy with other things. Previously, SUICIDE SQUAD was released in 2016. However, the film received negative criticism for failing to provide a clear story.

Now under the direction of director James Gunn (GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY), the film starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn will premiere on August 6, 2021 on 2 platforms, namely in theaters and on the HBO Max platform.

2. Criticized by Christopher Nolan

Not only THE SUICIDE SQUAD, Warner Bros plans to release all of their films in 2021 on 2 platforms simultaneously. This certainly makes Nolan furious. According to him, the decision is very disrespectful to the work of the filmmakers as a whole.

“For the 2021 films, they collaborated with world-renowned filmmakers, world-famous actors, who have been working for years and wholeheartedly so that they can be shown in theaters.
