.Feast 'Changed' into Barasuara, Baskara Appears Neat in Batik like Iga Massardi

Performing songs by Barasuara, known for their complex arrangements, turned out to be a unique challenge for .Feast. The guitarist, Adnan, even joked on stage about the difficulty level of these songs after successfully completing three opening tracks. "Alhamdulillah, we've done 3 songs, they're tough," said Adnan from the stage.

The jokes continued as they mentioned Ucup's role from Boss Creator, the promoter of Pestapora, who seemingly intentionally provided special challenges for the performers. According to Baskara, only one performer managed to escape Ucup's tasks. "Almost all the performers were given a hard time by Ucup today," said Adnan. "Only Bernadya didn’t read the lyrics," added Baskara.

In their performance, .Feast delivered several hits from Barasuara, one of which is Pancarona. They mentioned that this song comes from the era when Iga Massardi was keen on exploring complex chord progressions. This moment seemed to be a long-awaited new experience.

"Finally, after years, for this experience," said Adnan. "We're bringing a song from the third album, this is the time when Iga Massardi was experimenting with chords," he continued.

In the middle of their performance, guitarist Adnan made a statement that touched on the current socio-political conditions. He reminded the audience to be careful of provocations, while also criticizing the phenomenon of buzzers that can attack anyone who speaks out too much.

Although performing works by other bands, .Feast's identity as a vocal music group that cares about social issues remains intact. After giving that reminder, they still thanked the audience who were willing to endure the heat to watch their performance. "Thank you for gathering in this scorching sun," said Adnan.

The peak of their performance occurred when they were about to perform the last song. They chose 'Terbuang dalam Waktu', a song that they believe made Barasuara go viral and known by the government. 'Now we’re entering the last song, which made Barasuara viral until they were called by the government,' said Baskara. 'Called to perform, that is,' he added jokingly.

However, the atmosphere changed to a solemn one. Before the song started, .Feast dedicated this closing performance to the victims who have passed away during the protests that took place some time ago.
