For Revenge Reportedly Working on the Soundtrack for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Boniex's Post Triggers Netizen Speculation

The Bandung-based band, For Revenge, is back in the public spotlight after speculation arose that they would be contributing to the soundtrack for the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The suspicion emerged after the vocalist, Boniex, posted a photo containing the lyrics of a song titled I Miss You Every Brand New Day on his personal Instagram account.

The post immediately caught the attention of fans. This is because Boniex also included a Spider-Man GIF, leading many netizens to speculate that the song is related to the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Many also believe that For Revenge has been trusted as the Indonesian artist to contribute to the film's soundtrack.

Until now, the news is still just speculation. Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, the label that manages for Revenge, has not provided any response or confirmation regarding the circulating rumors.

However, some time ago for Revenge did mention that they were working on a soundtrack project. But at that time, Boniex and his colleagues were not willing to disclose the film that is part of the project.

For for Revenge, working on a film soundtrack is a different experience compared to creating songs for their albums.

If up until now the band's works have been born from personal experiences or events they have witnessed directly, this time they are challenged to translate the story and emotions of a film into music.

"In our opinion, as long as it is not forced and still fits with our works, this is a challenge. Whether we can collaborate on a film project and be given the opportunity to write a work based on the film's story, of course, is not easy," said Boniex.

"Moreover, we usually create works based on what we see and experience," continued Boniex.
