Vicky Prasetyo Denies Abandoning His Wife Fangfang, Claims He Regularly Sends Financial Support

Vicky Prasetyo finally spoke out in response to accusations of abandoning his wife Fangfang, who had previously claimed to be struggling to meet her living needs during her pregnancy. Through his legal team, Vicky denied all the allegations.

Vicky's lawyer, Sunan Kalijaga, explained that his client's relationship with Fangfang began with an introduction on social media. According to him, Fangfang was the one who first contacted Vicky through direct message (DM).

"So it was conveyed here according to Vicky, the actual event is that he initially knew her, she was the one who DM'd first. The initial acquaintance is that she DM'd first or who we know here as Hwang Fang, who DM'd through direct message from one of our client Vicky's social media accounts," said Sunan Kalijaga when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/7/2026).

Sunan said that all this time the communication between Vicky and Fangfang had been going well. Therefore, he admitted to being surprised when Fangfang held a press conference and made allegations of neglect to the public.

To refute the allegations, the legal team presented several transfer proofs which were referred to as routine alimony from Vicky to Fangfang.

"So Vicky was actually surprised why in their household the communication was good, smooth, with no problems, suddenly a press conference appeared," said Sunan.

Vicky, who attended the press conference via video call, emphasized that he continues to fulfill his obligations as a husband. He also stated that he had discussed his wife's delivery plan and continues to send daily living expenses.

"We communicate well, and then we plan to give birth to that in Semarang. The money I sent to Mas Sunan, my WhatsApp conversation about the living expenses will certainly always be provided for the mother as well, and there will surely be sustenance for the children too," said Vicky.

Meanwhile, another attorney, Agustinus Nahak, asked the public not to rush to conclusions about neglect. According to him, such allegations must be proven based on existing facts.

"So if we talk about neglect, we need to clarify what is being neglected," emphasized Agustinus.
