Mocca's New Experience in Holding Their First Concert in the Metaverse

Kapanlagi.com - The band Mocca tried a new experience in blockchain technology by holding their first concert in the metaverse. Collaborating with Paras and Realitychain, the concert entitled 'Mocca Love Fest' is planned to be held on Saturday (23/4) at 4:00 PM WIB.

Mocca's vocalist, Arina Ephipania, admitted that she couldn't wait to perform in the metaverse concert. This is a new experience for the singer of 'I Remember'.

"I'm very excited to perform in the metaverse concert because it's a new experience since starting my journey in the music industry almost 23 years ago," said Arina Ephipania during a recent virtual press conference.

1. For the Concert Concept

For the concert concept, Mocca will perform live in the studio. The audience can access Mocca's metaverse concert by clicking mocca.paras.city. Not only music, fans can also enjoy and collect NFTs from Mocca.

"This is live, not tapping, so we will perform live in the studio and be streamed in the metaverse," said Riko Prayitno, the guitarist.

"Basically, we will perform the concert as usual in the studio, and the audience will find a corner and a button that can be clicked to direct them to our studio for streaming," added Arina Ephipania.

2. Bringing Romantic Songs

A sneak peek of their upcoming concert, they will be bringing rare romantic songs. Mocca hopes that through this concert, the audience can also experience something new in the metaverse world.

"We will be bringing songs that are rarely performed. Mocca has always been close to the theme of love and romance in their career, and the theme of Mocca Love Fest is to create a romantic event," explained Mocca's bassist, Toma Pratama.

"Hopefully, all of our friends can feel the vibes. Metaverse is made to enter a more advanced technology. We hope that those who visit can experience it, especially those who have never experienced the metaverse world before," he continued.

3. Not Just Following the Trend

The metaverse world has become a trend nowadays. However, Realitychain stated that their presence is not just following the trend, but they want to become a connector for various metaverses.

"Currently, there is a tendency for metaverses to run on their own. However, the initial vision was for humans to be able to move from one world to another in one reality," said Pandu Sastrowardoyo, the founder of Realitychain.

He also emphasized that his team will not be satisfied with just organizing music concerts, but they have a much bigger dream that allows users from all metaverses to connect with each other.

"This concert is just the beginning. Our dream at Realitychain is to become a connector between metaverses, creating limitless experiences with the concept of the internet of metaverse," he concluded.
