3 Years Missing, Vierratale Returns with 'Yang Ku Mau'
After a long hiatus, Vierratale will return to perform.
Kapanlagi.com - Over the past three decades, Ita Purnamasari has proven that music has become a part of her life. Despite the emergence of many new singers, she never stops creating. It is evident that in the midst of this pandemic, Ita Purnamasari remains productive by releasing her latest single titled Semua Jadi Satu.
This single, released in collaboration with HP Music, is not a new song. Previously, the song composed by Dian Pramana Poetra and Deddy Dhukun was performed by Malyda and 3 Diva. Ita Purnamasari has her own story as to why she chose this song to be recycled.
"The inspiration for this came in 2018, when the 7 Bintang formation became active again. We had a concert at Java Jazz. When Mas Dian passed away, we were asked to perform this song at the 'Tribute To Mas Dian' concert. The audience and fellow musicians said it suited us very well, so why not recycle it? Finally, it became a reality this year," said Ita Purnamasari during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (15/7).
In this song, Ita Purnamasari collaborates with Tohpati for a rearrangement of this song to make it sound more contemporary. "We agreed to choose the top arranger, Mas Tohpati, because he can represent the current music. I really believe in it," said Ita Purnamasari.
Tohpati did not find any difficulties in working on this song. He still showcases the lady rocker side of Ita Purnamasari.
"What's clear is that there is a message from Ita and Dwiki (Dharmawan) not to deviate from the lady rocker character. I can't get out of that path. Because the track is already clear, so there are no difficulties because Ita is a rock singer. I just refresh it with a new sound," explained Tohpati.
The special thing about this song, Semua Jadi Satu, is that it was officially released on his 53rd birthday. He hopes that this song can be enjoyed by all music lovers in the country.
"Semua Jadi Satu was released 5 days before my birthday. Today is my birthday. Through my latest single, I want to greet music lovers in the country, whether they are from the current generation or seniors. Music is a part of my life," he concluded.
