Kapanlagi.com - The assault and attempted robbery experienced by Saif Ali Khan at his home occurred while Kareena Kapoor and the children were at home. There were rumors that Kareena was not on-site when the incident took place, but it turns out the actress was at home.
According to Pinkvilla, that night Kareena Kapoor attended a party with her sister, Karisma Kapoor. However, she had returned home by 1:30 AM, just before the robbery occurred.

Unbeknownst to Saif and Kareena, there was an intruder who entered their home. The intruders acted at 2:30 AM and were caught by the servant in the actors' house.
Upon learning that his servant was attacked by robbers, Saif immediately intervened. Without a weapon, he fought against the seven robbers and tried to capture them.
However, Saif's resistance resulted in injuries to his body. The robbers, armed with knives, stabbed the star of the film KAL HO NAA HO six times, with two of the wounds being quite deep.
The robbers then left Saif and Kareena's house, and the actor was taken to the hospital by Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif's second child from his marriage to Amrita Singh took his father to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai at around 3:30 AM.
Kareena Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan, and Jeh Ali Khan were reported to be safe after the incident. After Saif's surgery was completed and his condition was declared stable, Kareena was seen arriving at the hospital to accompany her beloved husband.
