The former bassist Slank, Bongky Marcel, was present at the funeral of Bunda Iffet which took place at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (27/4/2025). Bongky's presence was also a form of final tribute to someone who meant a lot in his life.

Bongky recounted that he went straight to Potlot after hearing the sad news. He admitted that he had received information about Bunda Iffet's passing since the night before through social media. "This morning, since there was already news from social media or whatever last night, I woke up this morning and went straight to Potlot at 10 AM," said Bongky Marcel at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (27/4/2025).

When reminiscing about his last meeting with Bunda Iffet, Bongky mentioned that the moment happened about a week ago. He had seen Bunda Iffet's condition, where she had to sit in a wheelchair.

The bassist of the band BIP also reminisced about his closeness to Mother Iffet since the early days he joined the Potlot community. He felt that Mother Iffet had replaced the figure of his deceased mother.

"Mother became a substitute mother at that time, because I lost my mother when I was still in my 20s, I was alone. So from that time, Mother became my mom. She often scolded me, gave me advice, basically she was a good person," said Bongky.
