Bunda Iffet, the mother of Bimbim Slank, was buried at TPU Karet Bivak on Sunday afternoon (27/4/2025). She was not only Bimbim's parent but was also regarded as a mother figure by the members of Slank and even other Indonesian musicians.

Anang appeared to arrive alone. He wore a black t-shirt and looked mournful. Anang could not hold back his tears when reminiscing about Bunda Iffet's significant contributions to his life. After the ceremony, Anang expressed how greatly Bunda Iffet influenced his career journey in the music industry.
"Yes, maybe I want to say that I bear witness for all my friends that until today I can stand in this industry thanks to him. That I was born by Mother Iffet, I am not from Potlot, I am from a village in Jember, I was given a place, I once slept in Potlot for two years there with my friends," said Anang at TPU Karet Bivak, Jakarta, Saturday (27/4/2025).
"And that is what I remember until today, how kind Mother Iffet was in teaching me, educating me until today I can be like this. Teaching me how to build togetherness with the components that were born from Potlot," said Anang.
Furthermore, Anang believes that Slank's struggle to survive until now is inseparable from the role and vision of Mother Iffet. He stated that Mother Iffet had a strong belief in the importance of fighting for a profession in the music world.
"Whoever feels that they were born in Potlot, continue together because he has the dream that this profession can be a life anchor. That this profession can be fought for, that this profession is extraordinary if we truly struggle together to advocate for this profession," he said. "That's why Slank, with all its heavy journeys, remains standing tall, that is part of the strength of Mother Iffet having plans for this profession," Anang added.
Anang also expressed his admiration for how Mother Iffet educated all the members of Potlot. According to him, figures like Bimbim and other Slank members were shaped through the great attention from Mother Iffet.
