The body of Bunda Iffet was finally buried at the Karet Bivak Public Cemetery (TPU), Jakarta, on Sunday afternoon (27/4/2025). Previously, the body of the deceased was prayed over at the mosque located in the area of the funeral home.

The procession carrying Bunda Iffet's body arrived at Karet Bivak TPU around 12:38 PM WIB. The mourners had gathered earlier, waiting for the arrival of the body at the burial site.

An atmosphere of sorrow enveloped the ceremony, especially when Bimbim, the son of Bunda Iffet, helped carry his mother's coffin. Not only that, Bimbim also accompanied the deceased into the grave as a final act of respect.

As the call to prayer was announced over the grave, Bimbim was seen gazing silently towards his mother's resting place. Despite this, Bimbim appeared strong in letting go of someone who meant so much in his life.

After the body was placed, red soil began to be sprinkled to cover the grave. Several mourners present there were seen unable to hold back their tears witnessing the moment.

A series of prayers and recitations of the holy verses of the Quran then accompanied Bunda Iffet's burial. The mourners also joined in reciting prayers, wishing for goodness for the deceased at her final resting place.

In the ceremony, Kaka represented the Slank group and the management expressed deep feelings of loss.

For Kaka, Mother Iffet was like his own mother, a figure full of patience and affection.

"Mother is my stepmother who never gave up on me, my stubbornness, my foolishness, my rudeness," Kaka expressed with emotion.

Furthermore, Kaka also emphasized the significant role of Mother Iffet in Slank's career journey up to this point.

Kaka referred to Mother Iffet as a figure who remained loyal in accompanying Slank through various circumstances.

"Mother is also the mother of Slank, who never gave up on Slank even though Slank was in a severely damaged condition, always believing that Slank could still be beneficial to the world," said Kaka.

In addition to family and the members of Slank, several close friends of Bimbim also attended the funeral procession for Mother Iffet.
