The seventh president of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, was present to express condolences over the passing of Bunda Iffet. Jokowi went directly to the funeral home located on Jalan Potlot, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on Monday (28/4/2025).

Upon arriving at the location, he was warmly welcomed by Bunda Iffet's children, namely Bimbim Slank, Reni, Massto, and Adri Sidharta.

As is known, Bunda Iffet passed away on Saturday (26/4/2025). Her body was then buried the following day at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta on Sunday (27/4/2025).
After the burial process, Bimbim shared stories about the moments of his mother's departure. He revealed that Bunda Iffet took her last breath the night before.
"Yes, Bunda passed away last night at 10:42 PM WIB. After Monday morning arrived, she didn’t wake up. Usually by 8-9 AM, she would be in a wheelchair to the next house to sunbathe, but this time she didn’t wake up," said Bimbim at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, Sunday (27/4/2025).
Realizing the unusual condition, the family then took Mother Iffet to the hospital for medical treatment. At the hospital, there were some positive signs that made the family feel a bit relieved.
"We were scared, so we finally took her to the hospital. The next day, she woke up chatting, telling stories, calling everyone, laughing. The hospital doctor evaluated what happened," said Bimbim.
However, that hope did not last long, as Mother Iffet's health condition declined again a few days later.
Bimbim revealed that on the sixth day, his mother had to undergo treatment in the High Care Unit (HCU).
"Actually, on the second day there was nothing, but by the sixth day, yes, had to go to the HCU. Two days before that, I had already asked to go home. In the end, we discussed it, and we decided to let him go home, and according to the doctor," said Bimbim.
