Ammar Zoni Regrets Not Hugging His Father During Their Last Meeting

Kapanlagi.com - Feelings of grief and regret enveloped Ammar Zoni when he learned that his father, Suhendri Zoni, had passed away. Jon Mathias, Ammar's lawyer, recounted their meeting, where Ammar cried while hugging his father's body, expressing his regret.

"Well, when he visited his father, he (Ammar Zoni) cried and hugged his father, feeling very regretful," said Jon Mathias when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/1/2024).

1. Ammar Zoni's Regret

Jon Mathias revealed Ammar Zoni's regret for not being able to take care of his father during his struggle against illness, and for not being able to be present during his father's final moments.

"Regret, he couldn't take care of his father, and then he couldn't attend the moments of his father's passing, and he met him when he was already deceased," said Jon Mathias.

2. Cause of Father's Deteriorating Condition

In addition, Ammar suspects that his father's condition worsened due to his third drug case.

"Then maybe he also felt the downfall of his father started from the second drug problem," said Jon.

3. Always Pray for the Deceased

Until now, Ammar still deeply mourns. In prison, he continues to pray for his late father by reciting the Yasin, performing the Tahajud prayer, and fasting.

"Keep feeling sad, keep mourning, he gives more prayers to his father, reading the Yasin at night, performing the Tahajud prayer, and fasting," added Jon Mathias.
