Ammar Zoni Reveals Allegations of Electric Shock During Interrogation, Requests CCTV Footage from Detention Center

Actor Ammar Zoni is back in court regarding the alleged drug trafficking case that ensnared him while in detention, Thursday (18/12/2025). In this continuation of the trial, which focuses on witness testimony from the Public Prosecutor (JPU), the brother of Aditya Zoni made a shocking statement about the alleged physical violence he experienced during the investigation process.

Ammar claims that the confession he provided in the video recording of the interrogation was not given voluntarily. In front of the panel of judges, he questioned the integrity of the police witnesses regarding the treatment he and four other defendants received during the interrogation process in early January.

During the trial, Ammar mentioned the acts of electric shock and beating. He emphasized that he has key witnesses, namely his fellow defendants who experienced similar things, and requested the judge to review the evidence from the surveillance cameras at the location of the incident.

"You are sworn in, sir. We five can testify. Is there no electric shock? No beating? No pressure? We five request Your Honor to present the CCTV from the detention center on January 3," said Ammar Zoni during the hearing.

The former husband of Irish Bella did not deny that the figure in the interrogation video played in court was himself. However, he emphasized that the statement was made because he was in a state of psychological and physical pressure due to the actions of certain officers.

For him, the video recording shown by the witness does not fully represent the actual event. Ammar believes that only the CCTV recording from the detention center can prove the truth behind the questioning process that he considers to be deviating.

Not only Ammar, another defendant named Rifaldi also gave a similar defense in front of the judge. Rifaldi admitted that he was forced to provide certain information in the minutes of the examination (BAP) because he felt intimidated and had no other choice at that time.

"Indeed, I told that (during the interrogation), but there were other factors, Your Honor. Because I was really under pressure at that time. I have to admit, Your Honor, I was really pressured," explained Rifaldi.

Rifaldi also emphasized that the police witness did not actually see the transfer of drug evidence as alleged. He stated that all testimonies that incriminate him were merely the result of pressure during the interrogation process.

"I don't know about that item. The witness also did not see me receive 100 grams or 50 grams. It was only based on my statement which was pressured," concluded Rifaldi.
