Vadel Badjideh's Heartfelt Confession After the Trial, Admits to Self-Hatred
Vadel Badjideh's heartfelt confession after the plea hearing, admits to self-hatred and being tired of public criticism, asks to focus on family.
Kapanlagi.com - Although the shadow of a 12-year prison sentence looms ahead, Vadel Badjideh still harbors a big dream that has yet to be realized. Vadel expressed his strong desire to return to creating as a dancer.
Vadel voiced his hope for a second chance. He promised to be a better person and wants to pursue his dream in the world of dance alongside his sister, Bintang Badjideh.
"Please, I want to create again. I want to entertain again," said Vadel after the court session at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (8/9/2025).

His dreams are serious. Vadel is ambitious to once again honor the nation's name on the international stage through his dancing skills, a dream that now feels distant due to the legal issues he is entangled in.
"I ask to pursue my dream just like my brother. I want to dance again to make Indonesia proud, that's all," he said.
This request was made after he expressed deep regret over his actions. He realizes he has disappointed many, including himself. The Vadel of now, he believes, is not the Vadel he wants.
"Why is there a Vadel from yesterday, that Vadel is not what I want," he said.

"I just want to focus on my family now, I want to focus on myself first," concluded Vadel.
