From Model & Sinetron, Fathimah Alatas Takes Fashion Design for Muslim Women Seriously

Kapanlagi.com - The fashion business continues to be eyed by celebrities because it is still promising. Not to be left behind, model and actress Fathimah Alatas decided to dive into the world of Muslim fashion by opening Fathimah Collection.

Diving into becoming a designer has been the desire of this Emak Ijah Pengen ke Mekah player for a long time. Thanks to prayers and hard work, in 2019 she appeared as a muse at the IFW event with Inneke Koesherawati and will be followed by showcasing her own designs.

"When I came to Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2017, Fathimah once said, 'Mom, from that door, someday Fathimah will perform.' And it's true, with the prayers and blessings of her parents, in 2018 she became a brand ambassador, her photo was displayed. And in 2019, she became a muse for IFW. I couldn't have imagined being a Muslim fashion runway model at IFW, let alone being a designer who enlivens the IFW event," said Fathimah when recently interviewed.

"In IFW 2020, Fathimah was asked to showcase her own designs. I was able to participate in the IFW event as a designer for Muslim clothing. Alhamdulillah, my work received appreciation. This is a satisfaction for Fathimah, because in 2020 the Fathimah Collection brand will hopefully appear there," she continued.

Interestingly, the beginning of the child of the couple Habib Abubakar and Hanina Alatas designed clothes starting from fun. Initially, the owner of Instagram @fathimahalatas only made creations for the family, but thanks to tremendous support, she dared to spread her wings.

Her plan is to be more serious in pursuing her business. "For 2020, after IFW, I will launch Fathimah boutique, website, and all social media," concluded the woman who has also been a host on one of the private TV shows.
