Lucinta Luna Sentenced to 1 Year 6 Months in Prison, Prosecutors Disappointed and Could Appeal
Lucinta Luna herself no longer wants to appeal and is satisfied with the judge's decision.
Kapanlagi.com - For almost eight months, Lucinta Luna has been detained in prison for drug abuse. Then, a month after her arrest, Indonesia was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which caused all activities to be disrupted.
Due to the pandemic, Abash, Lucinta Luna's partner, also experienced the impact. He is unable to visit his girlfriend in prison due to the prison's policy that does not allow visits. They haven't met for 6 months.
"(We haven't met) for half a year, six months. If you ask if I miss her, of course, I do," said Abash when met at the West Jakarta District Court, recently.
Unable to visit the prison due to the pandemic, Abash and Lucinta can only miss each other through phone calls. This is the only way for Abash to momentarily release his longing for Lucinta Luna.
"I can't (visit). If I miss her, I can only call. That's it. There's a telephone booth, so I call. If I miss her, she calls. But I can't contact her, she has to call me," he said.
In addition to hearing each other's voices through phone calls, Abash also occasionally makes video calls with his lover. At least once a week, they can see each other's faces through video calls.
"She's the one who calls every day. And for video calls, she's the one who gets to do it, but it's because it's on rotation, so maybe once a week," he concluded.
A number of health protocols are implemented during this pandemic. Through some simple things, KLovers can contribute to reducing the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
For example, by regularly washing hands with soap, implementing physical distancing, and always wearing a mask when going out of the house. Always #IngatPesanIbu so that this pandemic can end soon.
