Shooting Horror Film 'ASIH 2' Directed by Rizal Mantovani Implements Three Ring System Security

If previously directed by Awi Suryadi, the fifth title in the Danur Universe series is directed by Rizal Mantovani.

When first offered to sit in the director's chair, Rizal didn't need much time to agree. Because he has been following this franchise since the release of the film DANUR.

"I am a big fan of the DANUR Universe based on the story of Risa Saraswati. When suddenly I received a call to play in this sandbox, I didn't think much because I really wanted to. Because this universe is very strong in my opinion, the characters are complex, they have desires and wills that make me as a viewer want to know what else," said Rizal in a press conference at Epicentrum XXI, South Jakarta, Thursday (19/11/2020).

1. Apply Three Ring System

Considering the implementation of the filming process in the midst of a pandemic, Rizal Mantovani applies the three ring system. Where the crew in ring three is not allowed to be in ring two, ring two cannot be in ring one, and so on.

"We do ring one, ring two, ring three. So all crew members get tags, those from ring three cannot go to ring two, those from ring two cannot go to ring one and so on. As a worker, I feel calm and can concentrate in front, which is directing this film because everything has been arranged in such a way," explained the director who gained recognition in the horror genre through the film JELANGKUNG.

2. Taking Care of Young Children

ASIH 2 is a direct sequel to ASIH released in 2018. It tells the story of Sylvia (played by Marsha Timothy), a doctor who takes care of a young child named Ana in order to harmonize her household after her beloved child's departure forever.
