Ammar Zoni Highlights Evidence of 100 Grams of Meth That Went Missing and Extortion of Rp300 Million by Police Officers

The trial of the drug case Ammar Zoni continues with new facts that capture attention. This time, Ammar Zoni vocally questioned the existence of physical evidence in the form of 100 grams of methamphetamine that is the basis for the charges against him in the case of distribution within the prison.

In his interaction with the police witness, Ammar doubted the accusation because until now the physical evidence in question has never been presented in a tangible manner in court. He asked for clarification on whether the police truly possessed the illegal items or if it was merely an assumption based on one-sided statements.

"Is there really clear evidence that I conveyed what was just stated? 100G (100 grams)? Can it be proven that the item exists?" asked Ammar Zoni to the witness in the courtroom.

In response to the question, the police witness provided a rather shocking answer. The witness admitted that the physical evidence of the 100 grams of methamphetamine is indeed not in the hands of the investigators at this time because it is suspected to have been circulated again before it could be seized.

"At that time, to prove that the item belonged to Ammar Zoni, it was there, Ma'am. But the item had already been sold, so there is no (physical evidence of 100 grams)," answered one of the police witnesses.

Not stopping there, Aditya Zoni's brother also highlighted allegations of extortion carried out by certain police officers. He mentioned a request for a substantial amount of money to condition his case so that it would not proceed further.

"I want to ask something a bit explicit actually, Your Honor. Does the witness know that from the Cempaka Putih Police Station, the Head of Unit asked us to prepare a fund of 300 million?" asked Ammar Zoni.

"I don't know," replied the police witness briefly in response to Ammar's question. The police witnesses present unanimously denied the allegation. They claimed not to know about the request for 300 million Rupiah as alleged by the former husband of Irish Bella.

At the end of the witness examination session, Ammar again confirmed who was responsible for the recording of the interrogation video that he considered to be under pressure. He directly asked this to the witnesses present in the courtroom.

"The witness just showed the recording. Among these three witnesses, is there one who recorded (during the interrogation)?" asked Ammar, to which one of the witnesses replied "Yes".
