Nikita Mirzani Withdraws Breach of Contract Lawsuit Against Reza Gladys, Focuses on Criminal Case

A new chapter in the legal journey faced by Nikita Mirzani and doctor Reza Gladys has finally reached a bright spot. The civil lawsuit related to breach of contract with registration number 489/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL filed by Nikita's side has officially ended at the South Jakarta District Court.

This decision was made after Nikita Mirzani requested her legal team to withdraw the lawsuit. Fahmi Bachmid, as her attorney, explained that this request came directly from his client who wants to focus all her attention on the criminal case which she considers far more important.

"To all the friends who always follow the legal process against Nikita Mirzani and Ismail Marzuki, I personally thank you on behalf of Nikita because she met yesterday, 'please convey to the friends, Bang, at the time you were in the hearing for the Withdrawal of the Breach of Contract Lawsuit, say that I indeed requested and I want to focus on the criminal case because that is the most important as it relates to my life, my freedom, and so on,'" said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (21/7/2025).

The request was then officially granted by the Panel of Judges during the hearing. The Chief Judge firmly read out the decree stating that the civil case registered on May 16, 2025, has now been revoked.

In the ruling, the judge clearly granted the request from the plaintiffs. "Firstly, granting the plaintiffs' request for the revocation of the case. Secondly, stating that the civil case with register number 489/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL, which was received and registered at the South Jakarta District Court on May 16, 2025, is revoked," said the Chief Judge.

As a follow-up to the ruling, the court also issued an administrative order. The clerk of the South Jakarta District Court was instructed to immediately record the withdrawal of the case from the register book. The judge's ruling also included points regarding the costs of the case.

"Three, ordering the Clerk of the South Jakarta District Court to record the withdrawal of the lawsuit number 489/Pdt.G/2025/PN JKT.SEL in the register book provided for that purpose. Four, imposing the costs arising from this case on the plaintiffs in the amount of Rp563,000," said the judge.

Fahmi Bachmid welcomed this decision and explained the legal basis to the media crew. According to him, since the trial process has not entered the stage of responses between both parties, the approval from the defendant is not required to carry out the withdrawal.

"Earlier you heard, there was a ruling from the panel of judges where according to the judges, under civil procedural law, withdrawal can be done without the consent of the parties because there has not yet been any responses," he explained.

Furthermore, he ensured that with this ruling, the case is no longer existing. Legally and administratively, the breach of contract case that had been ongoing is now completely resolved.

"And thankfully it has been granted. Therefore, effective today, case number 489, the breach of contract lawsuit is declared withdrawn and concluded, and this is noted in the e-note SIPP that the case is no longer existing," he said.

After this case is resolved, Nikita Mirzani's legal team will immediately prepare for the next hearing. The upcoming criminal trial is considered a very crucial moment in the series of legal processes that her client is undergoing.

"I thank all my friends. And next, on Thursday, that is the most important hearing because that hearing is a criminal case where the first to be brought in is the victim according to criminal procedural law," he concluded.
