Qomar's cheerful demeanor has been a part of his personality for a long time. As a comedian, Qomar not only entertained on stage but also within the family circle.

"Yes, he never (was serious). Yes, maybe it's just in his nature because Abah is a comedian, not because he can make jokes, but maybe he was born to make people happy and to make them laugh," said Soebagja Salim, one of Qomar's children, when met at TPU Carang Pulang, Tangerang Regency, Thursday (1/9/2024), after the funeral procession.

1. The Figure of a True Comedian

According to Soebagja, Qomar is a true comedian who does not need to try hard to make people smile. Even at home, Qomar is more often referred to as "the joker" by his family.

"So, automatically, even though he is not called a comedian, people call him the joker, you know," he continued with a smile while reminiscing about moments with his father.

2. Prayers and Support

Although known as a cheerful person, Qomar is still an ordinary human who is not free from mistakes. Therefore, Qomar's extended family apologizes to the entire community who has ever interacted with the comedian during his lifetime.

"Our prayers from the extended family of Abah Komar, first of all, want to express our gratitude for all the prayers and support from Abah's grandchildren," Soebagja stated.

3. The Family Apologizes

He also conveyed an apology on behalf of the family for any mistakes that Qomar may have made, whether intentional or not.

"We also apologize, asking for forgiveness for all the mistakes and errors of Abah Komar, whether intentional or unintentional," he added.

"We also again ask for prayers so that Abah Komar, who has now been placed and buried in his final resting place, may have his grave widened, may his deeds be accepted, and may his sins be forgiven. Amen," concluded Soebagja with deep emotion.
