Arrested by Police for Alleged Assault, Putra Siregar Speaks Out

Kapanlagi.com - Entrepreneur Putra Siregar and his friend, Rico Valentino, are currently being held in custody at the South Jakarta Police Station. They were arrested by the police for alleged assault against a man named Nuralamsyah at a cafe in the Senopati area, South Jakarta, on March 2, 2022.

The assault began when Rico's female friend approached Nuralamsyah's table at the cafe. A dispute then arose between Rico and Nuralamsyah. Actually, Putra Siregar himself was only defending Roco Valentino because he was beaten up by many people.

"No, Rico was beaten up by people, I defended him and tried to stop it," said Putra Siregar at the South Jakarta Police Station on Wednesday (13/4/2022).

"This is purely from my friend, I tried to mediate but I can't comment much, I hope we can reconcile in this holy month of Ramadan and forgive each other," added Putra Siregar.

1. Rico Valentino Seriously Injured

Putra Siregar revealed the reason why he defended Rico Valentino was because his friend was severely injured after being beaten up by people.

"They, in the end, because they saw Rico was about to be beaten up and almost died, that's why I can't comment much," he said.

2. Five-Year Prison Threat

As a result of this incident, Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino were charged under Article 170 of the Criminal Code and faced a five-year prison sentence. Putra Siregar admitted regretting his actions with Rico. Therefore, Putra Siregar asked for prayers from the public so that his current problem could be resolved quickly.

"God willing, friends (please) pray for me. Pray for me, friends," Putra Siregar concluded.
